Giese has work to do
Below is an example of an article that is normally available to premium subscribers. Here are more examples of what you are missing out on:
Wilton lineman Jacob Giese used his junior season on the football field to make a name for himself once again. The success he earned has not kept him from plugging away with hopes that he will be even more dominant as a senior.
'I need to get quicker and that is something that would definitely help. I want to work on my technique and get bigger. I'd like to weight twenty more pounds than I am now."
Giese had a lot of fun proving doubters wrong throughout the fall.
"I thought it went pretty good. Everyone was not expecting us to be as good as we were in previous years but I think we did fairly well."
Another sport has kept Giese on his toes ever since.
"It has really just been wrestling. Wrestling is helping with football on my strength, conditioning, and building up muscle along with agility."
Giese has had a few different in-state colleges touching base with him.
"Buena Vista is probably #1 then Simpson, Coe, Central, and Upper Iowa. I also get a few things from Iowa."
There has been one visit for Giese but that was made for academics more than anything.
"I did a Junior Day at Iowa State for their Ag program. I'd like to go to college for Agriculture. That is something I want to go into but if a school I pick doesn't have it, I have looked into Physical Therapy or something sticking around sports."
