How did the first half of the AAU season end up going for your team overall?
From the perspective of coach and program director I have been pleased. We entered into the off-season with a distinct mission and focus. For the most part, we have progressed and made strides forward. Our student-athletes have been learning and preparing themselves for their high school seasons up coming.

What tournament did you play your best at?
Tough to answer that question. We have played great basketball in some games, but in my eyes we have not yet put together a complete tournament. That's part of the learning process.  We'll grow into that.

Who has consistently played the best for your team?
Erich Erdman from Forest City has been our leader on both ends thus far. It's been exciting to see many of our guys expand their skill sets. When it's all said and done, that's the what matters. Have they developed enough to take their game to the next level for their high school teams this coming season? Are they learning what it takes to compete in the collegiate game?

Who has been able to make the most over improvements during that time?
Many, but two players really stick out in this area. Jared Nicolaisen (New Hampton) and Drake Schuring (Decorah). They have both made adjustments to be efficient and productive players especially in the last few tournaments. Not always our top scorers but do many of the intangibles.

What areas can your team improve for the second half of the circuit?
Competing. We have to be able to take our mental toughness and competitive drive to a new level.

What are the keys for your team to have a successful run in July?
To us, success in the off-season isn't measured by wins and losses, its measured by progress. If our athletes expand their personal skill sets, develop their toughness, compete, and play the right way then good things will happen............ both for the team and for individual athletes. Winning is simply a by product of the process.

Where will your team be playing in July?
July 9-13, NY2LA Next Level
July 18-20, Jimmy V Classic
July 25-27, Kansas City Hardwood Classic
