Cherokee
A young group at Cherokee went winless in the conference
last winter and hopes that they have nowhere to go but up. The duo of Eric
Wilkie and Zac Smith bring back nearly 25 points per game combined between them
and showed that they have the skills needed to light up the scoreboard.
The problem that this group faced a year ago is they struggled with their
consistency shooting and finding enough scoring punch off of the bench.
That put a large burden on the shoulders of their best athletes and made it hard
to compete within the conference. Wilkie and Smith are a strong start for
the team but others must be ready to hit shots frequently if the Braves want to
improve overall.
