Cedar Falls
On paper, some may question Cedar Falls and their ability to stay among the
elite in the MVC this winter after losing their top three scorers to graduation.
This ends up opening the door for an extremely deep group of seniors that have
all been putting in the time to make an even bigger impact during the first day
of the 2012-2013 season. Issac Boettger, Kalehl Brown, and Kalund Brown
bring back experience from the starting lineup and they will form a core that
the coaches will rely on to carry the Tigers. This trio combined to score
over 20 points a night and those numbers could drastically improve heading into
the winter. Size and pushing the ball in transition will be two areas that
the team hopes to take advantage of. Replacing the top tier talent that
has moved on will be an uphill battle but this club has the pieces needed to
once again excel regardless of who they are playing.
