Perry
Battling their way to eight victories with a freshman,
sophomore, and junior said a lot about the future on the hardwood at Perry.
These athletes spent the winter competing in the Raccoon River and will benefit
from the experience that they gained a season ago. Leading scorer Torry
Brelsford will be asked to continue excelling offensively after he dropped
twelve points per contest as a junior. This standout will have assistance from
Will Whiton and Ben Daniels next to him in the starting lineup and each will
have a heavy burden on their shoulders carrying the team while others get
adjusted to the rigors of varsity hoops. Speed and depth are two areas that
will push them to improve on 2012 but playing more consistent defense is
important as well.
