Overview
Spending the winter playing in a 3A conference and jumping up to the Class 4A
playoffs makes it very difficult for Lewis Central to make a strong push towards
state. Even after winning 14-games last year, this group couldn't get past
Sioux City North in the postseason. With their two most consistent scorers
having moved on due to graduation, the Titans will be hopeful that they have the
returning players and upcoming athletes to do the job offensively. Mitch
Moran will get first crack at seeing more plays called his way but also don't
forget about Kyler Nixon and Mitchell Brinkman. This group hopes to match
their intensity defensively that kept opponents under 55 points per game.
Their ability to get stops and limit foes had a lot to do with their success
overall.
