FREE: Harrington lands another scholarship

Cedar Falls athlete James Harrington landed his first Division I offer last
summer from Indiana State for basketball.  But this junior saw another

program step up in football with a Division I scholarship as well.
"It was from North Dakota. They called me and I talked to their coaches. I
talked to the head coach and he offered me. I was pretty excited about it."
Harrington still remains undecided on if he wants to play football,
basketball, or run track in college.
"No. All three sports are all the same still."
The final decision will come down to what is left on the table.
"It will probably be whichever school is the best fit for me."
Harrington had another big season for Cedar Falls last fall on the hardwood.
"I thought it went pretty good. It ended sooner than I wanted it to but we
won the conference. I thought we had a pretty good year."
Track has been the focus as of late.
"I started track and I have my first meet in a week. I am pretty excited to
run. I can't wait to run at Drake and State again."
Summer football camps will also be on the agenda but the schedule is still up
in the air.
"I will definitely go to some but I'm not sure which ones yet."
