How has everything been going for you AAU wise with the All Iowa
Attack Nike team?
"Overall as a
team it has been good. There have been some ups and downs but we have started to
pull through. I've been able to gain attention from schools and have done a lot
better I'd say."
What schools are recruiting you?
"Other than the
offer from ODU, Sam Houston State called and talked to me. UNI has called and
they are very interested. The University of Massachusetts in Lowell called and
as of today the University of Arkansas Little Rock has also called. Those are
the five Division I schools that have contacted me. Several Division II schools
have called. I am still keeping my options open."
What prompted the offer
from Oral Roberts?
"Actually I went to their basketball camp a few weeks ago
and I played very well there. I impressed all of their coaches and that is what
kick started their recruiting. They watched me play this weekend and after a
couple of games they decided to offer."
What did it mean to you to land
your first Division I offer?
"It actually meant a lot. My mom went to school
there and it has always been on the back of my mind."

"Sam Houston State said that they play to offer
very soon. The other schools have been giving me a lot of information and asking
basic recruiting questions."
What is the situation at Iowa?
"They
called my coach, Vance Downs, and he referred them to me. Fred Hoiberg has
called my coach and so have a lot of coaches."
Do you have a favorite
now?
"At this point, I do not have a favorite. It is pretty early so I am
just open."
When do you want to decide?
"That is actually a great
question because I'm being called a late bloomer. I think I will decide at the
beginning of the season if not some point during the winter. It depends on how
things fall into place."
